The Disney modern classic features a precocious Hawaiian girl named Nani and her newly adopted sociopathic alien, 626, better known as Stitch. The pair quickly become inseparable, much to the dismay of Nani’s social worker and the intergalactic authorities who are monitoring her case. But Nani’s true strength lies in her commitment to family.

In a re-imagining set in Hawaii, the series is a charming and funny story of friendship, family, and the spirit of ohana. While the series has its flaws, it’s mostly fun and engaging and does a solid job of showing how even naughty kids can turn things around when they’re committed to a loving family.

The voice cast includes Ving Rhames as Cobra Bubbles, the social worker overseeing Lilo’s case, Kevin Michael Richardson as Captain Gantu, a Shaelik second-in-command, and Zoe Caldwell as Grand Councilwoman.
